Pest Control in Eastern Suburbs
Pest control for homes, housing societies and offices along the Central line and around Powai, from Chembur to Mulund. We use WHO and CIB-approved products and issue a treatment certificate after every visit.
What drives pest problems in the Eastern Suburbs
The Eastern Suburbs mix old mill and industrial land, fast-growing high-rise complexes and long-established housing societies. Three features shape the pest problems here.
- Hills and forest on the west: the National Park reaches down to Bhandup and Mulund. Buildings near it see subterranean termites and rodents coming in from open land.
- Water bodies: Powai Lake, Vihar Lake's catchment and the Thane Creek mangroves all raise mosquito numbers, especially from July to October.
- Waste and industry: around Chembur, the dumping ground and industrial land support large rat populations, including the lesser bandicoot, a large burrowing rat common in Mumbai.
Rats and the monsoon
Rat urine in floodwater spreads leptospirosis, and Mumbai reports cases every monsoon. If you have seen rats on your premises, act before the rains. We set tamper-resistant bait stations, find and seal entry points, and advise on garbage storage, which does more for the long term than bait alone.
